Your giving makes a world of difference to kids like Keenan, who had been arrested for series of thefts. Worse, he had stopped attending school and was fending off homelessness by sleeping on friends' couches. He knew he didn't want to keep going on like this.
Thanks to the support of donors like you, LCCR's team helped Keenan find a safe and stable home, get enrolled back in school, and get his state ID card, which helped him land a restaurant job near his new home. Keenan's case closed this summer. He's happy, learning to drive, and set to graduate from high school next year. By addressing his core needs, Keenan was able to break free from the harmful path he was stuck on--proof of how your support truly makes a difference in young lives.
Over the past year, LCCR served 541 kids in New Orleans, and another 165 in Baton Rouge. Thank you for helping make our work possible.
