At the Louisiana Center for Children's Rights, we go to the mat for our kids every day -- in the courtroom, in the classroom, and in the community. But sometimes what stands between our kids and success are barriers seemingly small, but insurmountable to a family that's struggling.
D'Andre needs a birth certificate to enroll in school. Rickey needs clothes and basic furnishings after his release from prison, where he had been incarcerated since he was a child. Sherice needs diapers and other supplies for her infant daughter.
No child should sink deeper into the legal system because they cannot afford the small costs that matter so much to their success. That's why we created our Small Favors Fund, a reserve we use throughout the year to help children and juvenile lifers cover the small costs that stand between them and opportunities to thrive.
We need your help! After a very busy year, Small Favors is getting low on funds. We're rallying to raise it back up so that it'll be there when needed for our kids in the year ahead.
Help remove obstacles to our kids' success... and change young lives for the better. DONATE TODAY!
