This holiday season, I'm rallying to raise money for LCCR's Client Resource Fund -- a reserve used to help their children cover the small costs that stand in the way of opportunity, and keep them stuck in the juvenile justice system. This year we had TWO clients get out of juvenile prison and head straight into college, but they didn't have the funds on their own to get all the necessary stuff that college kids need including bedding, dorm supplies, and textbooks. LCCR helped them get the resources they need, but we need your help to keep providing that assistance.
Every single day, our clients struggle to do something as simple and important as attend school, simply because they don't have the transportation, uniforms, or other necessities to attend. But your donation can change that:
- For just $25, you can provide one child with bus fare for a week
- For $50, you can provide one child with a school uniform
- For $100, you can cover the cost of after school activities for one child
- $250 can send one child to youth leadership camp
- $500 can help one child purchase all of his first semester textbooks
