At the Louisiana Center for Children's Rights, we go to the mat for our kids every day -- in the courtroom, the classroom, and in the community. Sometimes what stands between our kids and success are barriers seemingly small but insurmountable to a family that's struggling to get by.
No child should sink deeper into the legal system because they cannot afford the small costs that matter so much to their success.
I regularly use this fund to provide books for clients who are incarcerated in both youth and adult prisons. I also use the fund to assist my clients who are released with successfully transitioning home. The Child Welfare Fund has made a HUGE difference in supporting clients and building rapport in my practice!
That's why this holiday season, I'm rallying to raise money for LCCR's Small Favors Fund -- a reserve used to help our children cover the small costs that can stand in the way of opportunity.
- For just $25, you can purchase books for one of our incarcerated kids
- For $50, you can provide a school uniform to one of our children in need
- For $100, you can rent a moving van for one of our families experiencing eviction
