Everything you give makes a major difference, both in our clients' cases and in their quality of life. I'll spare you my rant on how expensive life in prison is, and who profits from it, but I'll just say: it is NOT easy for our guys to get some of the simple things that we take for granted every day.
These funds are used for pretty simple stuff, but that stuff matters a lot: warm clothing, hygiene products, books, stamps, phone cards, etc. I wish I could pass along the intense gratitude from the clients to you all -- no one is more appreciative.
